I love living in the village and around the bush-I don't care if haters call me a Bush-girl because I appreciate solitude. There's nothing wrong with having friends, but you should be able to enjoy spending time by yourself as this is the only chance to have time for thoughts and for strengthening your resolve to help others in life.

Don't litter! Help clean up your motheland whenever you can. While you're on you walks and hikes, don't just go littering around

I find living in towns unhealthy as most ugandan don't care about the environment but their pockets and what they can steal from the public. The opposite of a village girl is a mandazi-in-the-sky girl. So make sure you ground your dreams in reality so you can make your dreams come true - instead of just being a kampala wannabe.

I hate when the politicians use of Mabira forest to score cheap points while its them that do most of the pollution. Have you ever seen the sort of shopping they do? You'll be amazed because it looks like a daily feast and its them that drive big gazoling cars around to tell lies.

Swimming and keeping clean with water rather than perfumes, is good for you and the environment. Let your hair grow out and be free from chemicals-you don't need that poison on your head, be natural and fresh!
Have lots of hope. You may not be able to get others to do this, but if you do there will be one more village girls in Uganda.

Take up exercise or meditation to help maintain a sense of inner calm, as well as to help you get in touch with the mind and body connection.
